What is Cursillo?
A movement of the Catholic Church approved by the Holy See, supported by the Archbishop of Milwaukee and bishops throughout the world.
Cursillo (pronounded kur-see-yo) is a Spanish word meaning "short course." Cursillo is a full-immersion, spiritually life-changing experience to be lived over the course of three days alongside fellow Catholics who desire to reignite and transform their faith.
Cursillo is for practicing Catholics who desire a deeper relationship with Jesus but may not know exactly how to take the next step. Through a weekend of fellowship, prayer, sacraments, witness, and practical teaching, Cursillo helps open the heart to the Holy Spirit and offers a practical framework for living your faith more deeply each day. Participants are invited into a joyful Catholic community where they can continue growing in prayer, strengthening their discipleship, bringing Christ’s love into their everyday lives.
